KEITH TRIMPER MEMORIAL PLAYGROUND

The playground committee is pleased to announce that the playground build was a success on September 25th! 220 people took time out of their lives to pull together & build a much needed playground for the children of DES, as well as to honour a much loved youth in our community. Keith will always be remembered for his warm and caring heart. He was a faithful friend to many, always smiling and making others laugh. He was a great athlete who enjoyed a variety of sports, with soccer being his favorite. Keith touched many lives with his positive presence, and we are pleased to honor his memory through our school and community project.

We would like thank the donors below for contributing to our project & also to the carpenters who built such a beautiful outdoor classroom for the school.

BUILD DAY!!!

See below for a group photo of our playground build today. It was a success & the kids were having a ball when they were able to access the playground. Thanks to our many volunteers & the carpenters for the outdoor classroom. More pictures will be coming in the days ahead.

    What an awesome day!! I am so proud to be a member of this caring community!
    We still have projects on the go (the walking track), projects to finish (painting), and some that will be ongoing (the community garden), but I know that all of these will be as successful as "phase one" has been.
    Bravo to the wonderful, dedicated committee members, to our coach Crystal and to all of the community volunteers!! You are awesome!!!
    A special thank you needs to go to the individuals and businesses that supported our project, for without all of you, we would never have been able to do this!
    Finally, to the LTBK organization, a huge "Thank You" from our committee and community!!
